MacRae Landscape Design Kitchen Garden

MacRae Landscape Design present the Grow Ō Tautahi Garden Kitchen with 12 celebrated chefs preparing fresh cuisine over three days. With the dynamic Jax Hamilton hosting and a beautiful outdoor kitchen supplied by Detail by Davinia Sutton.

Moffatt's Floral Marquee

Moffatts Flower Company is proud to be New Zealand’s leading family-run flower business, supplying the finest, freshest roses and flowers from their Christchurch glasshouses since 1949. As the largest rose grower in New Zealand, and one of the largest flower wholesalers, Moffatt’s grows 35 varieties of roses in a network of more than 20,000 square metres of sophisticated climate-controlled glasshouses in Halswell, 365 days a year.

The Moffatt’s team will be on site with flowers for sale, displays and demonstrations. Tino ataahua!

Terra Viva Workshops and Presentations

Terra Viva Home & Garden say that knowledge is the key to success, and they are keen to share their expert knowledge of gardening with the people of Christchurch and visitors. Terra Viva is very excited to host a wide range of talks, workshops and masterclasses at GROW.

Studio Home presents awesome opportunities for those new to gardening to hear and learn from a range of gardening experts, all happening at the Terra Viva marquee.

Treetech Kids Zone

Treetech Specialist Treecare will be onsite to share their passion for trees and discuss with you the benefits of trees in the urban environment. Enter our lucky draw to win a line trimmer.

Bring the kids along to the Kids Zone with loads of fun activities for younger garden explorers.

The Butterfly Musketeer Maria Romero will be giving interactive talks for young and old.

Agents of Discovery is brought to you by the Christchurch City Council Parks team. Check out the games app and solve fun challenges by exploring Grow Ō Tautahi. The Agents of Discovery app uses augmented reality to interact with the world around you and is free to download from Google Play and the App Store.

You can find the Grow Ō Tautahi challenge in the app itself. You won't need WiFi or data onsite, but we recommend downloading the app and challenge either before you visit or using the free WiFi in the Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre.

Citycare Community Garden

The Canterbury Community Gardens Association is bringing together all of the region's 32 gardens to create an interactive exhibition where visitors can sit on living furniture, enjoy the peace and lush garden space, play amongst living sculptures and post photos of their adventures.
