Lincoln University is partnering with the Ministry of Primary Industries to build the world's first energy demonstration farm on a six hectare site close to the campus. The farm will help meet the urgent need for agriculture to find sustainable energy solutions to meet New Zealand's future carbon reduction requirements, such as through the utilisation of solar and wind power, biofuel, and energy storage.
