The festival will take place in the heart of the city in our beautiful Botanic Gardens with pop up events at Christchurch Art Gallery.
Wow! The extraordinary Botanic Gardens are centrally located. These beautiful gardens are a haven for native and exotic plants from around the world, from flowering gardens to giant stately trees.
There are many ways to get to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.
The Gardens are conveniently located close to the central city and only a 10 minute walk from Cashel Street Mall and The Crossing, a 20 minute walk from Riccarton Mall and a 15 minute walk from New Regent Street.
You can pick up a scooter from anywhere and get credited $5 when you arrive at the Lime tent at the museum entry to the gardens.
New Lime riders can use the code GROWCHCH and get $3 credit to use.
Lime riders can get between $5 and $8 credits.
Powered Scooters are not permitted to be ridden in the grounds, however feel free to explore the neighbouring Hagley Park on your way to or from GROW.
There are bike racks at the three main entrances - in both the Armagh and Riccarton Avenue carparks, as well as near the entrance to the Gardens on Rolleston Avenue.
Bikes are not permitted to be ridden in the grounds.
The closest bus route to the Gardens is via the Yellow Line, which stops along Riccarton Avenue.

There are two large public car parks in the Botanic Gardens:
You are welcome to park in either of these places for up to 180 minutes free of charge.
There are carparking buildings in the city within easy walking or scooting distance.

GROW volunteers will be on site, just look for our Kaimahi – Staff t-shirts. An information tent is located near the entrance to the visitor centre and Ilex Café. We’ll do our very best to assist you with any matter. If you lose a person or any belongings do check in at the info tent.
